Client was facing issues while tracking the orders, multiple calls need to make and
files need check to get the information. Still sometime information which was supplied
to business partners were on the assumption basis related to delivery of the goods.

Identify the status of the order from the initial booking to delivery of the goods, with multiple batch tracking.

Identifying the cause of delay in the systems which makes the delay in shipment of goods.

Identifying the availability of the all goods in warehouse when the order placed and generating an intimation to the product level specialist for any kind of future shortage, which may create ad-hoc.

Build a smart alert system that generate alerts for the store level specialist and product level specialist and the production teams to main a healthy stock level in backup and to increase the profitability.
Challenges:

The key challenge faced by the data experts was that the necessary information was deployed to multiple databases which resulted in redundancy in the process-flow.

Eliminating the redundancy by identifying key parameter and accuracy of the data by performing the data cleaning operations.

Few of the databases were on-prem and the other was deployed on the cloud.

The approach to address the client’s challenges involved certain operations.

Analyze the duplicacy of the data at database level, and combined all the relevant information at one platform, by the ETL process and pushing the data to Google Big Query.

Setting the update frequency for Big Query to get updated at every point.

Deploying a full-fledged BI system which generate smart alerts for the for the operation level teams to check and remove the bottle neck in the systems.
